Palapas Ventana is hosting the Paddle Royale Race January 17-24, 2010. It is part of a larger event called the La Ventana Kite & SUP Expo. The SUP race consists of an island crossing; 11 miles on stock boards 12'6" or less - all competitors must ride race pangas with their one board of choice to Cerralvo Island - no rudders or keels, or dagger boards, kites, sails or motors.
