Werner is proud to announce the addition of Iain McFarland to our 2012 SUP race and surf Team.
Fresh off a 3rd place finish at the Florida Paddle Board Championships Iain will add not only speed to the team, at races around the South East and the country, but style and power to surf contests like the new Eastern Surf Association competitions. Here is a little about Iain.

"I work full time as an Ocean Rescue Lifeguard for Canaveral Fire Rescue at Port Canaveral, Fl. Being a guard for 10 years now, I have grown to appreciate the water in many different ways. I channeled this love through the sport of Stand Up Paddling and started competing in 2009. Since then, I have traveled all over the country paddling in many races and SUP surf contests. I have found that there are no boundries in this sport and can't wait to see what the future holds for myself and paddling."
Matching power with power Iain will be surfing with the Fuse and racing with the brand new Grand Prix F1000. Next stop for Iain is the 2012 Key West Paddle Board Classic, be sure to stop by the Werner Paddles booth and say hello and try out a Grand Prix for yourself.. Welcome aboard Iain.
