The first annual Lake Max Challenge in, in Clulver Indiana, went off without a hitch and the regional Werner Paddles TEAM and our friend Slater Trout cleaned up.
Pictured above, TEAM Outpost of Holland and Werner Paddle's own Matt Johnson took the top of the podium with a win in the 14' Elite class while visiting pro racer Slater Trout and the Outpost/Werner's Tony Paul took 1st and 2nd in the 12'6" Elite...all using the new Grand Prix and loving it. The Outpost of Holland has one of the sickest selections of SUP gear in the country, let alone the mid-west, so we are stoked to be partnered with them.
Slater Trout. A dominate force on the race scene, brilliant in the surf, but overall just a really nice young man. Congrats!
Congrats to all the racers for their hard work, our amazing TEAM and most of the sponsors and the town of Culver for putting on an amazing event for the community.
