I know many people are missing a special friend today. Ryan Mooney put this thoughtful memorial together for Alan Panebaker, he passed on the river on Wednesday.

ayaker. Smart, strong and funny. You were the future of river stewardship in the Northeast, its too bad too see you go. You will be missed dearly, I cant stress it enough. All of those amazing times on the river are replaying in my head constantly along with your million dollar smile and sense of humor. There were many amazing days paddling with you buddy and unfortunately they have come to an end too soon.
