Owner of Sea Cliff Kayakers, an instructional institution and retail shop in Maine, John Carmody is also one the Werner Paddles Touring athletes and a great friend. Be sure to check him out when you want to take your sea kayaking to the next level, he can get you there.
This past summer, July 18th-August 5th, John Carmody and 2 friends, Nige Robinson and David Larkin set off for Alaska's Kenai Penisula.
Setting out from Resurrection Bay and their first site of the massive snow capped mountains, around the crux move at Gore Point and the flows of Cook Inlet to their destination back in Homer 16 days later John and the lads had an amazing experience. You can read his entire account HERE and check out a slew more amazing photos.
Thank you so much for all your support John, it means a lot. From the family back at Werner and all of our readers, thanks for sharing your journey with us.
